About the role:

We are seeking highly motivated PHP/Magento/Adobe/Symfony experts to join our rapidly growing team in Hanoi. We provide a dynamic and conducive working environment that combines relaxation and effective productivity.

Key responsibilities:

Build & Integrate Platforms & Systems:

  • Configure Symfony based on the architectural plan.
  • Set up servers/hosting and conduct performance testing.
  • Integrate modules, plugins, and new systems with Symfony and other specified platforms as per the site architectural plan.
  • Swiftly resolve technical issues and identify bugs during testing.
  • Perform integration testing (UAT).
  • Resolve technical issues throughout the project build and during the warranty phase.
  • Contribute to the technical engineering of projects, including operational procedure discovery and recommendations for improvement.
  • Facilitate the resolution of technical issues/bugs in client websites, Symfony installations, server infrastructure, etc., by assigning tasks to junior or outsourced resources while maintaining ultimate responsibility for resolution.
  • Lead custom development projects, with or without internal and external developers.

Manage/Train Junior Developers:

  • Provide technical oversight and support to junior development staff.
  • Ensure proper allocation of tasks to junior development staff within JIRA for the current sprint.
  • Monitor and ensure timely completion of allocated tasks by junior development staff to the required standard.
  • Review and conduct quality control of development work from outsourced and thirdparty developers.

About you:

Knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs):

  • Advanced proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (including jQuery).
  • Advanced knowledge of PHP frameworks (Zend, Symfony, etc.).
  • Advanced understanding of GitHub.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3.
  • Knowledgeable in XAMPP, LAMP, Nginx.
  • Familiarity with JIRA.
  • Knowledgeable in integrating with other opensource platforms (WordPress, MailChimp, eBay, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver highquality Symfony development (after training) with great attention to detail.
  • Capability to effectively manage multiple projects within a dynamic team.
  • Strong and open communication skills.
  • Fluent in technical English reading and writing.
