James Horne - Director
James is a Director of Balance Internet with over 12 years experience as an Internet Solutions Architect.
After earning his Honours Degree in Engineering, James continued his education to receive his MBA. Majoring in Marketing and IT from the Melbourne and Copenhagen Business Schools, James has now become "the go to guy" of online retail
and marketing.
Known as the guru of online marketing and president of the National Online Retail Association, James is sought after as an e-commerce lecturer and online strategy consultant in both Australia and overseas.
Consulted to Vic Roads, Cellarmasters, Retravision, Hagemeyer, AMP, Fitness First, Colonial First, plus many others.
Trent O’Sullivan - Account Director
Trent, at 37, has already worked in advertising for 19 years. From humble beginnings, he progressed through the industry to become Group Account Director and Partner with The Brand Agency.
Trent has worked in some of Melbourne’s leading advertising agencies, which gave him the opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s great thinkers and leaders.
His major clients have included Capt’n Snooze, Kidz Biz, Melbourne Water, The Gas & Fuel Corporation, Heatane Gas, Sigma Pharmaceuticals, Sabco, Retravision, Red Rooster, Disney Stores and Toyota. Working on these clients has given Trent well-rounded experience, in both a retail and mainstream perspective, vital for anyone wishing to succeed in this highly competitive environment.
Trent’s people skills, logical mind and straight forward “keep it simple” manner, are keys to the success of Balance, along with his unquestionable confidence in the ability of his team.
Ross Tucker - Creative Director
With 38 years in the advertising industry, Ross can be best described as a veteran player. After a 10-year stint as Retail Creative Director with Melbourne’s top agency of the 80’s, D’arcy McManus and Masius where he worked on leading retail accounts like Brashs, Just Jeans, Patersons, Mobil, and Toyota, he left to work as CD for a number of leading agencies. In 1984 he started his own agency, Optima Advertising.
10 years on Ross took up the position of Creative Director of The Brand Agency Melbourne working on Bunnings Warehouse, Sabco, Retravision, Toyota, Red Rooster, Homemakers, Disney Stores and Easy Living.
Ross’ strategic and creative ability together with his experience in having successfully run his own agency, are important ingredients in the success of Balance.
